Brooklyn, NY/Jersey Shore-based Sharkmuffin are more than just a band. They are a trio of tremendous story tellers, who have used their music to craft a unique world, entirely their own. Their upcoming EP Gamma Gardening, (Out 4/5 on Exploding in Sound Records) both constructs and explores this dystopian world. On their second single from the EP, “Fate”, the band weaves together complex ideas of emotion and quantum theory, up against an ominous and cyclical backdrop of whining, fuzzed out guitars. Bringing to light questions of - you guessed it, fate, and the decisions which determine the outcomes in our lives; “Fate”, is a coherent manifestation of the anxieties so many of us have ourselves.
