“Just as suddenly as "Ex-Teenager" arrives, the existential drama turns into a lullaby that dissolves and then evaporates before you even have time to put together what just happened." – Pitchfork
“Long time noise-rockers Disco Doom show that unpredictability doesn’t have to fade with time on this track ... In barely two minutes “Ex Teenager” shifts from a hook-filled rocker to pastoral psychedelia, eventually hitting a full-on noise assault near the end. Yet it all flows organically, you never quite notice all the different moving parts.” - Stereogum
