Brooklyn's Bethlehem Steel write towering, guitar-heavy rock songs as a means of relief from the weight of city life, unhealthy relationships, and dependence. "When you hit that wall of anxiety or depression, and you can't get yourself to move or even feel anything," band leader Rebecca Ryskalczyk tells The Fader. Following a well-received EP in 2015, the trio now fill a full-length with impassioned material that urges existential examination, challenges the patriarchy, and captures the physicality of their live performances.
